SHOWCASE AND AWARDS PRESENTATION
At the end of the weekend we will host a presentation where the dancer’s hard work will be showcased for teachers, family and fellow dancers. Following, we will recognize and present awards to scholarship dancers and defining students.
THOSE WHO ATTEND THE ‘SHOWCASE AND AWARDS PRESENTATION’ MUST HAVE AN OBSERVER, TEACHER, JUNIOR OR SENIOR PASS
SCHOLARSHIPS
Dance Canada Entry Fees, DC gift bags, Gift Cards.
DEFINING STUDENT AWARD
Each teacher will award one dancer who demonstrates hard work ethic, passion, potential and a genuine love of dance. These are the qualities of a successful performer!
REGISTRATION ON DAY ONE
Registration opens at 9:00am on day one of DANCE CANADA CONVENTION. Please look for the JUNIOR/SENIOR or TEACHER areas. Here you will receive a package with wristbands and dancer’s scholarship-audition numbers.
ONLINE REGISTRATION
After registering for DANCE CANADA CONVENTION online, you will receive an email with further details and information about the weekend!
FOOTWEAR:
Styles: Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, Broadway, Yoga.
Please bring what you’re comfortable dancing in for these styles.
Suggestions: Jazz shoes, socks, bare feet, sneakers, foot paws.
